Jordan is a marketer and producer of oral hygiene products, painting tools and household cleaning products.
The group is one of the world's leading authorities in preventive oral care. It has been owned by Norway's Jordan family since its foundation in 1837. In 2010 the Jordan Group employs 540 people, including 167 in Norway, and its head office is located in Oslo, Norway.
Revenues for the Jordan Group in 2010 came to NOK 919 million with a net profit of NOK 14 million.
The group's operations comprise the Norwegian parent company Jordan AS and three foreign subsidiaries. Jordan AS manufactures and sells oral care and household cleaning products. In addition, the company markets and distributes painting tools manufactured by its subsidiary, Anza AB.
Anza AB produces and markets painting tools, and has become even more significant to the group after the acquisition of Britain's Hamilton Acorn in 2001. The company's head office is in Bankeryd, Sweden.
Jordan Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd is responsible for group sales in the Asia Pacific region, with its head office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
